  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  8. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
This week's feature is a question:

Q: Tell us at least one new or unusual thing you’ve done in 2013.

I thought long and hard on this one, and at first I thought I'd had a very boring year!  But, eventually I came up with three things that are new for me:
  1. I started a new job in February, and it's a job that's actually in my field.  I'm a Rehabilitation Assistant, and it's pretty perfect in that I only work 20 hours a week while the older two kids are in school.  I like the people I work with, and I have a good variety of tasks to do.
  2. I started a book review blog!
  3. I started an art journal.  I've only completed one full page, but I've played around a lot with backgrounds and different techniques - so much fun!
So what have you done this year?  I'd love to hear from you, and if you'd like to follow my blog, just leave me a comment and I'll be sure to follow you back!

  1. What's your art journal like? My daughter loves to draw, and my friend's niece suggested I buy her a journal where you draw a picture everyday instead of writing a journal entry. Is your art journal like that? I think that's a pretty rad idea.

It sounds like you enjoy your job, and that's half the battle, lol. How old are your kids? Welcome to book blogging! :D

    1. I get to help out the physio and occupational therapists, so basically I do a lot of admin stuff and cleaning wheelchairs, walk with people, etc. I'm at a long term care facility, and I find the people there really fun to work with!
