Feature and Follow Friday #180

Hi there, and welcome to Feature and Follow Friday!  Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow!  Well, I'm pretty new at this, so I'm all in!!!

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  8. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Question of the Week: Pick a book in your favorite genre that you’d recommend to a reluctant reader.

Ooooh, this is so hard!  I don't know that I have a favorite genre - I love 'em all!  But let's just go for Contemporary YA.  Here is one of my favorite reads of the year:

Have you heard of "Jellicoe Road" by Melina Marchetta?  It's one of those books that stick with you forever, and I think it would appeal to a wide audience.  If you haven't read it, or heard of it, you are missing out - go get in NOW!

I would love it if you follow my blog!  Leave me a comment in the comments section, and I'll be sure to follow you back!!!

  3. I've heard so much great buzz about Jellicoe Road, even people who hate contemporary books seem to love it! It's been in my TBR pile for a while, same with Melina Marchetta's other books, I'm probably going to marathon a couple of them soon. Oh, and love your name by the way! ;)

  4. Ahh! This one I've read months ago but my review will be posted any time during the succeeding weeks. On the Jellicoe Road is one of the best contemps I've read. The beginning is just so hard to get into but once you get past it, everything is just WOW! The feels, man. The feels.
